The waxy white flowers of the gardenia (or "dok phut" in Thai), which grows profusely in the warm humid climate of northern Thailand, in and around Chiang Mai, are deliciously flowery radiating an intoxicatingly romantic scent, reminiscent of the warmth of tropical evenings.

The Elephant Story beeswax candles are hand poured and made from the finest materials, which includes 100% natural beeswax produced by bees that feed only on the blossoms of lychee trees grown in Thailand's Chiang Mai. Each scent offered at the store contains the essential oils from plants that grow naturally in Thailand. Â

Our candles do not contain paraffin wax, burn cleanly for approximately 50 hours and are entirely biodegradable.
