Polo Ball

When the World Elephant Polo Association was first developed almost 30 years ago the founders first tried using soccer balls, but the elephants thought it was fun to step on the balls and pop them, so they quickly transitioned to using traditional horse polo balls.

Polo balls were originally made of wood, but in the 1970â €š ¬ €ž ¢s the official game ball began being made of plastic to prevent splitting during the game.
