Pahkahmah 2-Sided Scarf - Red & Blue Medium Check/Stripe

The Pahkahmah (the Thai word for Loincloth) is a staple in the hills of Thailand. Thai tribesmen have traditionally carried Pahkahmah €™s with them to serve them for multiple purposes.

In the night they will pull out the Pahkahmah and use it as a cover. In the morning they may use it as a wrap after bathing and then as they work the Pahkahmah becomes a sling to carry items.

A rectangle shape usually with unfinished ends, most are woven from cotton, but some can be found in silk. They are typically multi-colored woven checked pattern or a tartan pattern.
