ViewThe Mekong River travels through the Golden Triangle where Myanmar, Thailand and Laos meet.
These river rocks are collected from the shore of the Mekong River in Chiang Saen, Chiang Rai Thailand and hand painted with acrylic paint to resemble elephants. The artist utilizes the natural shape of each rock to create a unique work of art.
The artists purpose is to draw attention to the over-excavation of the Mekong River Rocks for use in roads and other large scale construction.
Since each rock is unique, personal selection is not possible online. We will select one for you.
