An traditional Indian pant. Gathered waist with a drop crotch, full legs and gathered at the base. Constructed from fine handwoven cotton.
Designer's Note: This garment has been dyed in a medium intensity indigo, keeping in mind its propensity to fade, not only when you wash it, but also as you wear it. Indigo dyes are especially beneficial for the skin, and because our dyes are natural, they can easily be scrubbed off when you shower. It's almost like wearing an organic body pack.
100% handwoven cotton. Made in India.
For Handwoven Textiles:
- Hand wash in cold water separately, using mild liquid detergent and dry inside out under shade.
For Hand Block Printed:
- Wash separately and Do Not Soak. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
- Some Natural dyes tend to fade over a period of time, which is not to be seen as a defect. This slight, gradual fading is a sought-after property of natural dye, and enhances the beauty of handcrafted textiles.
Indian Tradition Textiles are valuable because of the handcrafted processes involved in their creation. They are prone to manual irregularities, which give them a unique, characteristic that cannot be replicated.
